  3. Piggy knew that the shell was a conch, and it made noise. He had ralph blow in it cause piggy had “ass-mar”, but Piggy also wanted ralph to like him.

  4. Piggy suggested to Ralph to blow the conch to call the other’s from hiding. He let Ralph take all the credit for the shell.

  5. Boys come from hiding and instantly gave power to Ralph and the creamy conch.

  6. Power • This conches power • The person holding it was the only one to talk • People don’t act as savages • Blown = meetings

  7. Sun bleach Sun is turning the shell white, As the color fades so does the POWER.

  8. They have been arguing, people just taking the conch, no one is quiet for the one talking.

  9. Piggy is trying and trying to speak holding the conch but no one listens

  10. “Who cares what you believe- fatty” “I got the conch!”

  11. Jack, doesn’t want the conch around anymore, he points out people talking is doing no good

  12. Ralph yelling at jack standing up for piggy making jacks face turn white; all over the conch.

  13. “The rules! Shouted ralph. Your breaking the rules! Who cares! The conch don’t work any more”

  14. “If I blow the conch and they don’t come back; then we’ve had it… If you don’t blow, we will soon become animals”

  15. The conch exploded. “See? See? That’s what you’ll get! I meant that! There isn’t a tribe for you anymore. The conch is gone!”

  16. Powerless • Broken conch • No meetings • No call • No rules • Jack takes over • Act as savages • All hope is lost
