Natural conditions of Nakdong Estuary • Area reaches 12,536ha • Climatic condition of cool summer and mild winter that rarely freeze • Fertile deltas formed by accumulation • Vast sandbank and reed forest that appear in low tide • Rich nutritive saltsand productivity drifted from upper stream • Abundant and various species due to the region which the river and the seameet • Geological characteristic linking Eurasian Continent and Pacific Ocean

Natural conditions of Nakdong Estuary • –Examination on Birds • Rare Birds : 23 species and 9,273 individuals was • observed, including Swinhoe’s Egret, Black-faced • Spoonbill, Oriental White Stork and Spoon-billed • Sandpiper etc.(2005) • A total of179 speciesand more than 400,000 individuals was observed (2005) • (Material: Wetlands and Birds Korea)
