Understanding EtherChannels • EtherChannels can consist of up to eight interfaces.
Understanding EtherChannels • You must manually assign an interface to an etherchannel using the channel-group command. • Each etherchannel has a logical port channel interface numbered from 1-6.
PAgP • Port Aggregation Protocol • Dynamically groups similarly configured interfaces into a single logical link
PAgP • PAgP has three modes: on, auto, and desirable. • Network devices are either PAgP physical learners or aggregate learners.
