  2. Aluminum High Pressure Die Casting Generally, a two-piece mold is involved in aluminum high pressure die casting. These pieces are made of iron or steel. And then both of these parts are put together. On top of the mold, you will find a hole to receive molten metal. Both of the pieces are separated after it is cooled. If the casting structure is complex then there are chances that the mold has some slits on it. They have to perform tooling to fix the problem.
