Jabida Massacre • March 18, 1968 • Members of the Armed Forces of The Philippines(AFP) killed at least 28 Moro-Muslims recruits • This incident sparked off the future Moro insurgencies in The Philippines Main Cause of Conflict
Jibin Arula, sole survivor of the massacre, told how Moro recruits were taken in batches of twelve to a remote airstrip • These unfortunate recruits were then executed by machine gun fire • Death toll still uncertain, and it ranges from 28-200 Jabida Massacre
