Order • Order authorizing the City Administrator to execute an ARC Grant Request on behalf of the Allegany County Human Resources Development Commission, allowing the City to act as the pass-through agency for the receipt of ARC funding in the amount of $110,000 to provide assistance for the rehabilitation of 310 Seymour Street, which will serve as the HRDC Head Start/Early Head Start Center in Cumberland.
Order • Order authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 for the City's 2013 Grass Mowing Contract (08-13-M) with Arnold's Lawn Care in the increased amount of $5,700.00, to include the mowing of Oldtown Road at White Oaks Bowling Alley and Queen City Drive from Bedford Road Ext. to Humpty Dumpty School, bringing the total new contract amount to $31,620.00.

Order • Order authorizing execution of Employment Agreements with David A. Goad to provide services as the Safe Streets Grant Program Coordinator, and Jason R. Mellott to provide services as the Safe Streets Grant Crime Analyst, retroactive for the period July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.

Letters, Petitions • Letter from the Cumberland Police Department to Jeff Rhodes, City Administrator, and David Eberly, Allegany County Administrator, advising of the availability of $14,390 in grant funds through the 2013 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Program that will be used to purchase equipment for a traffic safety program to benefit law enforcement on both the County and City level. Input from the Mayor and Council and citizens of Cumberland on the use of these funds is welcomed.
