UNOS Region 6 • Three OPOs • Legacy of Life Hawaii • Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank • LifeCenter Northwest • 26% Increase in Organ Donors Since 2009 in Region 6 • 27 Transplant Programs • Just over 1,000,000 square miles (almost 30% of US) • Major challenge is long distances • Hawaii – high donors per million; PNTB – high organs transplanted per donor; LCNW – high kidney utilization

  4. LCNW Goals: • 240 organ donors per year • 119 in 2009 • 176 last year • 800 organs transplanted • 435 in 2009 • 525 last year
