Interleaf to XML Automated Conversion Process • Execute macros to open binary Interleaf files.  • Call Adobe Acrobat Distiller and perform preliminary data conversion to PDF files to retain original formatting.  • Output data in Interleaf ASCII Format (IAF) • Transfer Interleaf content to Arbortext Epic 4.1.  • Configure and map DTD elements into Interleaf formatted style.   • Configure setting file to map entities to symbols. • Convert to XML file automatically*. XML Automatic Processing Methodology • The XML Processing Engine of our Control Program maps entities & elements to symbols and automatically performs conversion to XML.   • Call Adobe Acrobat and execute equation cropping and export for image transfer to EPS and GIF files from PDF files.   • If stylesheet has not been provided ensure browsing by creating a stylesheet based upon the DTD.  • Call EPIC and XMLSpy to edit formatting of the referred PDF file and perform validation as per the DTD.  • Analyze, create and run customized QA scripts to catch any errors which were not caught by parser. • Perform sample checking to ensure accuracy requirements met. • Organize files for delivery per structure requirements
