  1. Moving from on premise technology to everything that is on-demand The idea of cloud computing & cloud storage is quick provisioning of on- demand technology or services over the web, whilst only using devices like laptops or any mobile device with a web browser. Free Cloud Storage Services or Paid Services are mostly based on a Subscription model that is based off over a month or year. Cloud computing relies on storage, access, sharing, analyzing, and more to leverage consistent capabilities. Online Cloud Storage Enterprises that subscribe to cloud hosting technology have the benefits of focusing on business processes without spending on IT, storage, or compute resources, or for that matter even building a cloud infrastructure. Cloud computing providers work on offering services based on various cloud models viz. Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Database-as-a-Service (DbaaS), etc. Every standalone IT product or technology will convert into pay-as-you go model or on-demand services. Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Cloud infrastructure can be deployed in the following ways –

  2. Public Cloud – mostly deployed for users or enterprises over a public network or accessible for all Private Cloud – mostly deployed or leveraged for a single enterprise for added security and performance Community Cloud – shared infrastructure between various communities of a specific enterprise, organization, or community Hybrid Cloud –it’s a combination of two or more cloud models viz. private, public, or community Big Data – used for storing and accessing huge volumes of data over the web for faster storage, access, and analytics There are various businesses or enterprises who want to move their business to the cloud, as the value of the cloud market is increasing at a tremendous pace through high performance, better data security, robust scalability, faster accessibility, secure backup and faster DR. Cloud computing will continue to spread its wings as time goes by. But, enterprises do feel there are some challenges that need to be addressed like migration, data security, and more. Individuals working with older technology need to be enlightened about new technology wherein the new generation can teach the older employees about digital efficiency, productivity, and more. The other concerns regarding cloud computing would be enhanced security in terms of very high-value data that needs to be protected over the web. Most of the enterprises look at a hybrid system to achieve this, but at the moment enterprises have deployed their data on a private cloud model to keep their data safe. Task automation is another part wherein companies would be giving further thought whilst handling software, hardware, and data from a single point. Moving forward, every piece of IT, would be transformed as a pay-as-you-go service or on-demand service, making it more accessible and flexible for users and enterprises as well.
