Pause and Reflect 3 ways we seek to impact our students: • Informing Beliefs-belief in their own ability to succeed, that school and their community will help them get there, that they can overcome challenges, that it will be worth it. • Building Skills- study skills, writing, math, critical analysis, self-advocacy, teamwork, skills needed to succeed in and out of school. • Providing Access-opportunities to see new and exciting places, meet people that have done things they hope to do, do and try things they’ve never done before. Think back to a person or experience in your life that had this impact on you.
