Why Ecoliteracy? “ Literacy is ability to read. Numeracy is ability to count. RLG Objectives To expand the Runnymede Public School eco-literacy program (S) by creating a sustainable, collaborative (school library-parents) vegetable garden (M) on the south-east corner of the school property (A) by April 20th, 2010 (T). The Runnymede Public School Library Garden (RLG) will further promote the school silver eco status (R) and align it objectives with the 21st century vision for integrated environmental education in community and culture building and citizen engagement (M).
