SED2 Features • Built-in P1 & N2 Communications • Optional LonWorks or Modbus communication interface • Unique low harmonics design limits emitted noise that may interfere with other devices • Built-in custom PID controls system dynamics, eliminates the need/cost for separate PID controllers • Pump Controller Staging/Cascading eliminates the cost of separate controllers; suited for open loop, constant pressure, constant flow-type systems and applications. • Multi-Level Program Access: Limit, manage, and custom configure the specific parameters unique to the application. • Eliminates the need and cost for separate line reactors and chokes • Allows direct sensor input for room temperature control
SED2 Features • Intuitive, easy-to-use internal programming software leads the operator through quick start-up and commissioning • One Common Interface includes a Basic Operator Panel to operate, set and monitor all drive functions. • Advanced Operator Panel provides inputting of parameters to multiple drives, multi-line/multi-lingual display, scheduling functions, and can control up to 31 drives on the same network • Essential Services Mode/Smoke Purge for critical applications where continuous uninterrupted service is essential. Drive will run regardless of system faults and alarms

Ni 1000 PID Controller Feature • Analog or Ni 1000 Sensor Direct Connection • With direct connection of analog or Ni 1000 temperature sensor inputs, implementing low-cost temperature control loops with one cooling or heating sequence is easy. • The built-in PID controller with anti-windup functionality is optimized for HVAC requirements. The PID controller has a hibernation mode which stops the drive if it runs at a user-defined minimum speed for a given time.
Torque Speed V-Belt Monitoring Feature The SED2 ensures reliable V-belt monitoring without the expense of an external sensor. Both speed and torque are compared to a user-defined tolerance band. If the parameters do not match, the drive trips in the event of V-belt failure. Also, the SED2 is also able to monitor a pulse sequence from the sensor detecting rotation on the fan shaft.

Menu-driven Quick Commissioning The drive’s initial settings consider the hard wired or direct (P1) connections commonly used with a BAS system. The quick commissioning mode using the standard operating panel, provides for quick and straightforward drive set up.
