  2. Turn to your “My Daily Physical Activity Recall – Day 2” worksheet.Fill out your sheet.

  3. Write down 1 question you still have about nutrition and physical activity.

  4. Where can you look to find accurate answers to you questions?

  5. Sources of accurate information include: • Health books and health-related encyclopedias. • Government publications and websites.

  6. Where are some places that might not be good sources of nutrition and physical activity information?

  7. Sources such as health clubs, product advertisements, and .com websites often are designed to sell your products and services. They may use the same marketing techniques as advertising agencies. As a consumer you must be cautious of the information they provide.

  8. Newspapers and magazines often summarize extensive research information into a short article based on their perception of what might sell.

  9. Get into partners.Each group of partners will get one of the questions that are still unanswered.

  10. Write down your question. In the next class you will be expected to present your question and an accurate answer. You will discuss the source of your information and explain how you know it is accurate. You’ll have no more than 3 minutes to make your presentation.
