My birth • My mother and father found out that they were having twin girls, but originally thought we were a girl and a boy! • They named us Melissa and Melinda, and I was named after a song called Sweet Melissa. • My mother was in labor for two weeks before she could actually give birth. • We were premature twins, and doctors tried to help my mother stay in labor until she reached 7 months. • She gave birth normally with me and through C-section with my sister.
