MRWA Brief History • 501 C-6 Not for profit, • 950+ members. • Provides ON-SITE training and technical assistance. • MRWA was provider of: • Vulnerability Assessments, • Emergency Response Plan evaluation and creation, • Tabletop Exercises, • Provided numerous emergency response related training courses. • Field Staff NIMS Certified.

MRWA Emergency Response • 75kW three-phase generator kept postured for storm events. • Database of systems with resources and contact information. • Ability to put staff on-site within minutes to hours. • Trained with generators and making connections, • Equipped with appropriate tools. • Established history of emergency response.

  4. MoWARN • Missouri Water and Wastewater Agency Response Network. • Mutual Aid Program for water and wastewater systems “modeled” after electrical cooperative mutual aid. • Separate entity from MRWA. • Wholly MRWA supported. • http://www.mowarn.org

  5. MoWARN • Free membership to any system. • Utilizes resource typing. • Potentially interactive with other state’s WARN programs.
