  4. Human & Physical Features To begin with, Peru’s population is 30,469,221 million people. Also,did you know that Peru is 1,279,999 square miles? Did you know that Peru has 95 doctors per 1,000 people? The literacy rate for Peru is 96.71%. Lastly,the passenger cars are very rare, only 41 per 1,000 people. In conclusion,Peru has a good economy.

  5. Flag of Peru To begin with an interesting fact about Peru's flag is that the white part of the flag represents peace and honesty,while the red represents strength and valor. Also, did you know that there are three different types of flags in Peru? Flag day in Peru is celebrated on June 7th,which is the anniversary of the battle of Africa. Lastly,the shields on the flag represent friend or foe. In conclusion,Peru has a very interesting flag.

  6. Government • The capital of Peru is Lima • Independence day is the 28th of July • Suffrage is 18 years of age • National symbol is Vicuna • Anthem is Himno Nacional del Perú

  7. Religion To begin with, the most popular religion in Peru is Catholicism. Also, did you know that the Peruvian Government is allied with the Catholic church? Almost all of Peru is Catholic, nearly75% of Peru! The other religions in Peru includeAdvents, Islam, and Buddhism. The predominant religion is Roman Catholic,but there is a scattering ofother Catholic groups. In conclusion, there is a variety of religions in Peru, but Roman Catholic is the most common.

Did you know that the coast of Peru is almost completely covered in cacti? Copper is a mineral that is mined a lot in Peru. In conclusion, there are many different plants, animals, and natural resources in Peru.
