  1. A is for Atlas An atlas is book that has maps and show cities, towns, roads, rivers and moutains of all over the world By Philip

  2. B is for bay A bay is something that is made out of rocks, sand water . It is a small beach.

  3. C is for Cliff A cliff is a high steep face of a rock. The cliff is of Moher Rise near the town of Doolin County Clare on the west coast of Ireland. The cliffs stretch along the Atlantic ocean for nearly 5 miles. By Katie

  4. D is for Dune Dunes are made up of lose sand. Dunes form when wind picks up sand and drops it in a pile. Dunes are hills of lose sand. Darcy

  5. E is for Earthquake An earthquake is when part of the earth shakes. This earthquake started by a fault. A fault is a crack in the earth and then the crack starts to move and now there’s an earthquake. Did you know earthquakes can start by vibrations of sudden rock movement? From Meaghan

  6. F is for Forest by Trinity F is for forest. A forest is large area of land covered with trees, but a forest is much more then trees. Other kinds of plants such as mosses scrubs and wild flowers are there.

  7. H is for hill by Nathan A hill is a higher ground from lower ground. It is smaller than a mountain.

  8. J is for Jungle Jungles are wild areas that have a thick tangle of tropical plants. In many parts of the rain forest trees are so thick sunlight never reaches the ground. By Jade.

  9. J is for JUNGLES Jungles are wild areas that have a thick triangle of tropical plants. Rain forests have huge trees and long vines. The trees are dense and thick. By Zada

  10. K is for Knoll Knoll is a small rise of land and a little hill. And it is a good place to go skiing. A knoll is smaller than a mountain. By Lili

  11. L is for Lagoon A lagoon is a body of water separated from the ocean it’s surrounded by islands. By Ian

  12. L is for lake A lake is a body of water with land all around it. Glaciers made some of the Great Lakes. The Great Lakes are Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior. By Devin

  13. M is for meridian A meridian goes from the south to the north. And is a imaginary line. By Alex

  14. M is for Mountain A mountain is a very large hill. The largest mountain is in Hawaii! It is called Mauna Kea! It Really, Really, Really Is Huge. It is taller than Mount Everest if you measure from the bottom of the sea. This is the Mauna Kea from space !

  15. O is for OASIS An oasis is an area within a desert where the water table reaches the surface. A storm or a strong wind comes and pushes the sand down where the water is under the ground. BY IRIS

  16. P is for Poles Poles are coolest and iciest places on the earth. People don’t live there. Only scientiests live at the poles. By Jeffrey

  17. Q is for Quicksand Quick sand is sand that feels like fast moving water and it could make people die. It forms near the bottom of seacoasts. By: Zoey

  18. R IS FOR REEF by Garvey A reef is a ridge of rocks or sand along the coast. A coral reef is a reef made of coral.

  19. S is for Quick Sand by Tim Quick sand is an area of wet sand in forests on mountains and on plains sometimes animals get tuck in it to.

  20. S is for Swamp A swamp is an area of wet, muddy land covered with plants. Many kinds of animal are living in swamp land. By Olivia

  21. U is for undergrowth Undergrowth is small bushes and other plants that grow close together beneath the trees in a forests and other wooded area By Aliyah

  22. V is for Valley by Casey It is a long area between the bottom of hills mountains ect. You can also call it an elongated depression

  23. V is for Volcano by Ben A volcano is an opening in the earth’s crust through which molten lava, ash, and gases are ejected .

  24. W is for Watershed A watershed is a stream or river that goes in to a bigger body of water. It goes down a hill and in to the body of water. By Noa

  25. Y is for Yardang It has a keel shaped crest and is rocks formed by the wind. It is white and sandy and has a pointed edge. By Matthew

  26. Z is for Zone Zone means an area or a region or a place like the map zones. I hope now that you know if they ask you what it is. You all ready know. By Santiago
