  1. A.H. → J.E. (Bell Ringers) Journal Entries (JE) must be a minimum of 3 lines of writing in complete sentences (unless otherwise specified), and are worth up to 3 points for each entry. Since you are given in-class time to work on these each day, they will only be accepted for up to one week after their due dates. _______________________________________________ 8/17: Geography is closely linked to history. How do you think geographers help historians understand the past? 8/18: Draw a map from your house to school. 8/19: If you could live during any other time in history, when would that be? Why? 8/20: Using no words, draw symbols or a picture to illustrate one of your hobbies or something you like to do. 8/21: When selecting a site for a new settlement, what physical features would be important to you and what would be your main concerns?
