  4. Who are the Cheesy Riders? The Cheesy Riders are a national year-round PepsiCo cycling team comprised of employees, family and friends. Partner with Enable to raise awareness of people with different abilities. Support charities such as the National MS Society, Livestrong Foundation, American Diabetes Association, Tour de Cure, St. Jude’s Charities. Our History 2007 2008 2013 2009 2010 1996 2006 2003 1988 2002 2004 2005 2011 2014 2012 Rode from Plano to Atl Olympics for MS 1st Yr to participate in Dallas Bike MS, (45 riders, $38M Raised) Bike MS (172, $148M) & Reached Million $ Milestone, LSC (20, $10M), Wish 100 (100, 20,000), Added TDC Bike MS (148,$101M) TDC (23,$7M), LSC (21 ,$10M) , Wish 100 (60,7000) Bike MS (160, $142M), Formed NMSS National Team Added LSC (31,$20M) & Wish 100 (79,$7M) Bike MS (152, $137M) Bike MS (143, $123M) Bike MS (163, $118M) Bike MS (170, $116M) Bike MS (149, $123M) Began as Mtn Bike Club Bike MS (129,$94M) Bike MS (111,$75M) Bike MS (98 riders, $48M raised) Bike MS (92,$89M)

  5. Types of Rides • Signature Rides • Rides such as the Bike MS where we get a huge number of Cheesy Riders (100+) to come out to both ride and raise money for a good cause. We will have 2 of these for 2014. • Fun Rides • Rides such as the Collin Classic, Red Balloon, Tour Dallas, Wild Ride, and Hotter n Hell that are less focused on fundraising and more of a “register and ride”. • Training Rides • Informal rides where we meet at the Frito HQ or other designated locations to ride together as a team on designated routes. These are FREE!!!

  7. Fundraising Statistics • 909 donations • Up from 800 in 2013 • 9.4 donations per rider • Most donations – 45 • Denise Chochrek, up from 42 last year • $830 average per rider • Considering participants meeting $300 minimum

  8. Bike MS Event Recap • 111 Registered Riders (92 in 2013) • 97 Riders who raised money(84 in 2013) • 30 First Time Bike MS riders (27% of total) • $74,923 Raised ($86,759 in 2013) • #4 Top Fundraising Team • Over 30 Volunteers MS stops people from moving, we move to make sure it doesn’t.

  29. Corporate Challenge Bike Race How can we win? The Racers: We qualify for our medal placement based on the raw speed of the fastest 2 Men & 2 Women to cross the finish line. The Riders: We earn Extra points for each Rider who crosses the finish line .. even if you can’t ride fast, we need every rider to come out & play!   32. What is the NTBR? The North Texas Bicycle Rally (NTBR) is an annual fund raising event for North Texas Children's Charities. This charitable organization supports local and national organizations that provide care and support for special needs and desperately ill children. Our beneficiary is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Donations are optional but encouraged and appreciated!The North Texas Bicycle Rally covers the rolling hills and off-the beaten path roads of North Texas. Competitors include bicyclists of all abilities and levels who participate in a wonderfully supervised ride to wrap up the cycling season.

NTBR By the Numbers • Race fee is $35 if you register by online, mail or at the early packet pickup • Rally Day registration is $40 • In 2013, over 700 riders participated • Depending on route length, there are between 1-4 well-stocked and volunteered rest stops • 4 Support & Gear (SAG) wagons will patrol ride routes • The rally distributes 100 percent of all donations after event expenses with absolutely no administrative expenses • Since inception, NTBR has raised over $100,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

NTBR – Route Options • Family Fun Ride (5 miles): • The Family Fun Ride is perfect for family members and children • Red Route (15 miles): • This route is a great intro route…rest stop will be provided at 7 miles • Red Route (30 miles): • This route is our mid-range route. It is not for the weak of heart or spirit! • White Route (50 miles): • This route is a great challenge for the advanced cyclist. Rolling hills! • Blue Route (62 miles): • The “Metric Century” is for the advanced cyclist. This route has some rolling hills that will get your legs burning and includes the famous “Woo-Hoo” hill into Roanoke.
