  2. The series • Playing dead is the first book in the 8 book series of blade.

  3. Beginning • Blade has been hiding out for the last 3 years hidding out in a city he lives in abandoned building, steals to survive. So far its worked out.

  4. Troubles • Balde finds himself in a precarious situation when a gang finds him pick pocketing in their territory. So they beat him up.

  5. After being beat up an old women named Mary and her dog Buffy brings him to her house and gives him clothes food and money. But things soon turn for the worst for both of them.

  6. 3 men break in to the house and mary tells balde to run he does so and as he is leaving he hears Mary being shot now hes on his own again.
