PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT Percussion instruments are designed to make unique noises when you hit them. Percussion instruments are normally in charge of the rhythm. Drums keep the beat, Which supports a musical piece and keeps the time. A drum kit requires of a bass drum, snare drum, tons and cymbals.
BRASS INSTUMENTS Any instrument that is played by blowing through it is called a wind instrument. Trombones change the pitch by sliding the long piece of tube up and down. A brass is a long metal tube. The tube is twisted to make it easy to hold the instrument. A bugle is when it doesn’t have any valves or slides.
STRINGED INSTRUMENT Plucked is like flicking it with your thumb, finger or small piece of plastic. Struck or hit usually like usually using a small hammer. If you press the key a felt covered hammer hits one of the strings. A bow is a strong flexible stick with a ribbon of horse hair stretched onto it. The hair is rubbed with resin. WOODWIND INSTRUMENTS Woodwind instruments are not all mode of wood. Woodwind require wind to make noise. To make music air is blown into the mouthpiece or the reed. Double reed produce more vibration than the single reed. The reed is often made of bamboo. It is the vibrating air produced inside the instrument that produces the sound.
