Only talk at the appropriate times. Rationale: If you’re talking when you’re not supposed to be, then it takes away from another student learning. It disrupts the class and makes it harder for you and others to understand what is being taught. There will be times in class that you will be allowed to work with other and talk amongst yourselves. • Treat people the way you want to be treated. Rationale: Respect wins respect. If you are kind to others, then they will be kind back to you. If you say mean words, or bully others, your just going to cause trouble. • Always come to class prepared and ready to learn. Rationale: If you come to class without your paper, writing utensils, and other supplies needed; then it takes time away from getting your work done. Work becomes a lot easier if you are prepared and ready to go! • Always try your best!! Rationale: If you try your best, you have a higher chance at success. If you study, do your homework, and complete classroom assignments on time, then you will succeed in my class.
I intend to go over each rule day by day. I will make sure every student understands my rules and we will do fun activities to go along with them so every student can learn them in a fun way. If a student breaks a rule throughout the year I will ask them to restate the rule that they have broken, then I will ask them how they could have changed the situation so that they didn’t break the rule. If they continue to show misbehavior, I will have them write that rule a certain amount of times over and over, and have them turn it in as a grade. Then I will call the parent and tell them what happened and how I handled the situation.

RATIONALE ESE and ESOL student- I put them in the front of the class toward me so they are close to the board and can comprehend the lesson better. Excelled student- I put the excelled student with the ESOL and ESE student because they know the lesson, so the students can ask the excelled student before me. Troubled student- I put a separate deck right by mine for the troubled student so they cause less to no disruption to other students Supplies and reading area- I put them in the back of the room so if students need something, its less disruption for them to get it while I am teaching up front.
