The main function of Jitterbug • Assert how sensitive the control system is to slow sampling rate, delay ,jitter and other timing problem. • Compute a quadratic performance criterion for a linear control system under various timing conditions. • Combined with TrueTime simulator to determine the influence of the sampling period on the control performance. PLs and PLio are the latency probability distributions obtained from TrueTime.
Idea • Modified the NCM model with varing sampling time. And use Jitterbug to judge the relation between the sampling period and control performance cost. • Aided by tins information, then proceed with more detailed control design using TrueTime.
Implementation (continue) • Now have changed the whole model with varying sampling time. And further I will use the jitterbug to test how the sampling time influence the performance . • And then take the sampling time as control input and modify the controller.
