Background • Employee Qualifies for HCA Benefits • Employee is not Working • Employee is not being Paid • Employee gives the College a Check
What to do with the check • Give the check to FMS • Have them deposit into Prepayment Account
On PS1010 • Enter into Prepayment Account using PP (Prepayment entered to post personal check from employee) • Use Deduction Code 039 (Health Deduction Common)
Health Reduction Indicator A Code to indicate if an employee’s health deduction co-payment amount is either a deduction or reduction Y = Reduction N = Deduction
After Employee Returns to Work • Check prepayment account to verify all deductions were sent to HCA • Change PS0005 Reduction Indicator Back to Y
