CMM Level 2 KPAs: Sw Project Planning Requirements Mgt Sw Project Tracking & Oversight Sw Configuration Management Sw Quality Assurance Sw Subcontract Mgt CMMI Staged Level 2 Process Areas: CMM Level 2 + Measurement & Analysis • Is there value in getting assessed at CMMI “staged” L2 if you’re already at CMM L2? (We know there’s cost!) • Wouldn’t it make more sense to go from CMM L2 - CMMI“staged” L3? • Would it make more sense to switch to the Continuous model? • The tough question: Many practitioners are keen to maintain their hard won skills & capability; senior mgt • has lost interest however; how do we help the practitioners rightfully maintain their skills inspite of mgt? • OR…do you now use your own model (see above) and continuously improve IT
