  3. 1. Waxing The best way to quickly remove large amounts of brow hair is waxing. At Wisp, we use a special wax formula specifically designed to soothe skin post-waxing. Waxing is a great option because the wax removes short and fine hair just as easily as thick and stubborn hairs. The wax also acts as an exfoliant and leaves behind smooth, hairless skin. This technique uses cold or hot wax to remove the extra hair. Just like the waxing technique used on hands & legs, the same method of using a paper strip or in some cases stripless wax is used to remove the unwanted hair on the brow bone.

When tweezing at home to maintain brow shape, make sure that your tweezers are sharp and that you pull the skin tight before each pluck. Pulling the skin tight helps the tweezer to latch onto the hair being removed and decreases pain. Another trick to making tweezing more comfortable is to take a hot shower or apply a hot compress to the brows directly before tweezing. The warm steam softens the skin and opens the pores, allowing for easier hair removal.
