Immigration Question: Should I Get a Study Permit ? I am Tem

Canada Immigration Question: I am temporarily visiting Canada for six months. While in Canada I wish to take a few courses. Is that possible without a study permit? Answer: Short courses that don’t lead to completion of a program of study can often be taken without having a study permit. Typically, such short courses are less than six months in length. You may also consider taking distance-learning courses, such as online courses. However, if the online course has an in-Canada component to the course, you may have to obtain a study permit for that portion of the course.
