  1. After spending over 20 years doing my own remodeling projects and running other companies, I decided to open Culp Home Improvement. That was in July of 2004 and we were doing general remodeling work, kitchen and bath remodels and some basements I quickly decided to focus more attention on basement projects and today that is most of my work. I do all the design work and I do my own framing and finish work. This way I can be on- site during these crucial stages so there is no guess work hoping things turn out right.
