Daily emergency ambulance calls were studied: • cardiovascular diseases: a sum of the following diagnoses: ICD-9: 386, 394-438, 458, heat stroke 992; • respiratory diseases: ICD-9490-519; • ill defined symptoms: 780, 781, 784- 786;.
During the studied period • 474507 emergency calls were registered, out of them • 18,5% were due to cardiovascular diseases, • 3,7%- due to respiratory diseases, • 9,36% due to ill defined symptoms.
