JAN 16 JANUARY 16 FUTSAL TECHNICAL ELEMENTS - FIELD PLAYERS With the ball: soccer usual skills + tip toe shot, use of sole of foot (trapping, passing and feinting), target technique, chip pass (inside/outside of foot), cuts (feint), quick feint and shot, special feints (cow tail, elastic, lambreta), etc Without the ball: change of direction, change of speed, checking, sudden stops, hook
TECHNICAL TRAINING METHODOLOGY • Basic FUTSAL skill training • Emphasis on non soccer skills • AVOID repeating the same exercise or an easy exercise (2-men group or line exercises, like passing, shooting or dribbling without difficulty) because of no training result (training exercises must pose a challenge) • Leave 2-men group or line exercises for warm-up or for first contacts with a technique (or only for players with greater difficulty)
TECHNICAL TRAINING METHODOLOGY • Situational skill training • Use of reduced games (reduced number of players or reduced space) • Divide the court into zones • Create similar-to-game situations (variations: 1x1, 1x1 +1, 2x1, 2x2, 2x2 +1, 3x2, 3x3, 3x3 +1, 4x3, 4x4) • +1 = support for team with ball • Use challenges/competition to demand high level during the sessions
TECHNICAL TRAINING METHODOLOGY • REPEAT FOR FIXATION, BUT NOT INDEFINITELY • VARIATE FOR NON-MECHANIZATION (INTELLIGENT PLAYING) • CLEAR SEPARATION BETWEEN WARM-UP AND TRAINING (LEARN, GO TO HIGHER LEVEL) • CREATE CLOSE TO REAL DEMAND SITUATIONS • POSE CHALLENGES TO DEMAND MAXIMUM FROM PLAYERS
