With the release of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and the return of the ever-so-cool Tumbler, we take a look at some real-life cars that will make Batman super proud.

MAZDA FURAI - Now, isn2019t this a slick looking car? Debuted in 2008, the Mazda Furai (Furai means 201csound of wind201d in Japanese) was initially launched as a concept car, but it was later made into a race car. Powered by a 450-brake horsepower, 3-rotor Wankel engine, the Furai has a top speed of 289km/h. Enough to outrun Joker2019s goons, that2019s for sure.
NISSAN DELTAWING LE MANS - A product of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, the Nissan DeltaWing is an actual race car that was invited to participate in the 2012 Le Mans race. Designed to dramatically reduce aerodynamic drag, the DeltaWing runs on a four-cylinder turbocharged direct injection engine with a 300-brake horsepower capacity. And it does look like something Bats would fancy.
MAYBACH EXELERO - Bruce Wayne is a multi-billionaire, so nobody would blame him if his alter-ego opts for a luxury car as a Batmobile, like the Maybach Exelero, for example. This two-seater, 700-brake horsepower monster boasts a twin turbo V12 engine, with a 0-100km time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h! And here2019s the best bit: there2019s only one Exelero in the world (because a tire company asked Maybach to build them a supercar for them to test their new generation tires), so this ride is so Bruce Wayne.
LAMBORGHINI ANKONIAN - Designed by designer extraordinaire Slavche Tanevsky, the killer Lamborghini Ankonian is a mid-engine concept sports car modeled after a stealth fighter jet. According to Tanevsky, the 640-horsepower Ankonian is a more aggressive version of the super limited Lamborghini Revent00f3n. What it looks like to us, though, is a Batmobile. Yup, it does.
LAMBORGHINI MADURA - Here2019s another Lamborghini and Slavche Tanevsky masterpiece: the sleek, 2-door Lamborghini Madura. Although the Madura is still a concept at this point in time, the Madura will be a hybrid supercar and will be equipped with a V10 engine. But unlike the Lamborghini Ankonian, the Madura will reportedly go into production in 2016 - perfect timing for a Batman and Batmobile reboot, perhaps?
FERRARI MILLENIO - And here2019s another Batmobile hopeful: the very Batmobile-looking Ferrari Millenio. Designed by Marko Petrovic, this two-seater super-futuristic concept car features a buckypaper reinforced body that is apparently 201cstronger than steel and lighter than carbon fiber201d. Also, the Millenio will run on dual electric engines that can be recharged via solar panels, so not only will Batman be saving Gotham City, he will be saving the world too.
BMW GINA - Now, the BMW GINA has the technology that will make a real Batmobile green with envy. The GINA comes 2018wrapped2019 in a 201cstretchable water resistant translucent man-made fabric skin201d that changes its shape according to the speed you2019re going and exterior conditions. The skin also allows the driver to change its shape at will, just like Batman2019s memory cape. Now, how cool is that?
