A joint press statement between Indiau2019s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and the Australian Trade Minister Dan Tehan on August 26, 2021 has directed officials from the two sides to speed up negotiations to achieve an early harvest interim agreement by December this year and pave the way for a comprehensive agreement.
