SNC2D Review Garside Spring 2012
Discussion Regarding Reactions Lab • You need to remember your 7 Diatomic Elements! • Be sure to put brackets around your polyatomic ions when in a compound – Example: Mg(OH)2 • You do not need to use the crisscross rule for molecular formulas!! Remember – covalent bonds! • Remember to include roman numerals in the names of multivalent compounds
What Will I Be Given on Friday? • Solubility Chart • Periodic Table What Will I Need to Memorize? • Polyatomic Chart (Table 3) • The 7 Diatomic Elements
Instructions: • Write your answers to the following questions on a lined piece of paper. • You can use ALL of your notes to help you. • After every 10 questions, I will post the answers. You will have an opportunity to mark / correct your work before we move on to the next 10. • We will only go through one round TODAY • Once the activities are over, you will have an opportunity to choose a worksheet or textbook questions to work on for the remainder of the period based on your needs.
ROUND 1: Ready?? Set?? Go!!!!!!
