  7. Benefits in the long run Better prepared for high school and college • Makes the transition to a more technology centered learning area easier • Cut down on the “how to” classes that professors at colleges teach.

Classroom management techniques • Designate “think time” or “lids down” when students need to direct attention and focus on the teacher • Internet logging software • Set up shortcut programs • Have students save files in a specific directory • Walk around the room to make sure students are on task
