  2. 1. • JOE BECAME UPSET WHEN HIS GIRLFRIEND BEGAN SEEING ANOTHER FELLOW. ONE NIGHT, JOE DECIDED TO PUT A STOP TO THE WHOLE THING. HE WAITED IN HIS CAR DOWN THE STREET FROM HIS FORMER GIRLFRIENDS HOUSE. WHEN THE OTHER GUY BROUGHT HER HOME, JOE FOLLOWED HIS RIVAL’S CAR. ONCE HE FOUND OUT WHERE THE GUY LIVED, JOE MADE HIS PLANS. TWO DAYS LATER, JOE BURNED THE OTHER GUY’S HOUSE DOWN TO PAY HIM BACK.

  3. 2. • THERESA WANTED NICE THINGS, MOST OF ALL WHE WANTED NICE CLOTHING AND JEWELRY. ONE DAY SHE DECIDED THE TIME HAD COME FOR HER TO HAVE THE THINGS SHE HAD ALWAYS WANTED. LATER THAT EVENING, SHE THRE A BRICK THROUGH THE WINDOW OF A JEWELRY STORE. FROM THE BROKEN WINDOW SHE PULLED A BEAUTIFUL RING AND TWO EMERALD BRACLETS.

  4. 3. • WHEN THINGS WENT POORLY FOR DAN, HE SEEMED TO LOSE HIS HEAD. THIS HAD BEEN ONE OF THOSE TIMES. THE WHOLE DAY HAD GONE BADLY. NOW HE DECIDED THAT IT WAS SOMEONE ELSES TURN TO HAVE A BAD DAY. WITHOUT EVEN STOPPING TO THINK ABOUT IT HE THREW HIS HALF FILLED SOFT DRINK INTO THE WINDSHIELD OF A CAR PARKED ON THE CURB. A SPIDER WEB OF CRACKS APPEARED.

  5. 4. • ROGER HADN’T MEANT TO DO ANYTHING WRONG. IT WAS JUST THAT HE NEEDED MORE MONEY THAN HE HAD IN ORDER TO PAY HIS BILLS AND DO THINGS THAT NEEDED DOING. EVERY FEW DAYS, HE WAS ABLE TO TAKE A FEW DOLLARS OUT OF THE COMPANY CASH REGISTER. THIS WENT ON FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE HIS BOSS CAUGHT HIM.

  6. 5. • The city of Highland had very strict laws. One of the laws had to do with overtime parking. Francine never seemed able to park without coming back to find a ticket on her car. It didn’t seem fair for this to keep happening to her. After she had paid about a dozen parking tickets, she stop worrying about it and quit paying them. One day she received a registered letter that informed her if she did not appear in traffic court on the following Thursday, a police officer would be sent to arrest her.
