  2. WHAT IS BREAST IMPLANT REMOVAL? Many factors may occur over time that causes a woman to choose to have breast implants removed or exchanged. Removal is required when women want to: Switch from silicone to saline implants. Switch to a different size implant. Remove implants altogether.
