Under these conditions the potential for a missed alarm can be greatly increased. The HX series addresses this issue by the additional measurement of luminance levels as the environment changes. The integration of temperature and additional luminance analysis provides the HX series with the ability to more accurately assess true environmental conditions and allows sensitivity to automatically sharpen as environmental conditions require. This combination greatly reduces the potential for missed alarms, whilst maintaining stability. • Advanced temperature compensation logic • It automatically increases the detector’s sensitivity under high temperature conditions, especially where the background temperature ranges from approx. 35 -37 degree C (95 - 98 degree F), close to that of the human body.

Ideal detection area settingBy creating ideal detection patterns for specific applications, HX prevents the false and missed alarms • adjustable detection length • To limit the detection distance, apply the masking seal on the lens inside as in the figure. • spot area flexible masking • To limit the detection range, apply the area masking seal to the part you want to hide on the lens inside. Configure the area in such a way to avoid having anything cut across the area.
