General Safety Rules • Follow all directions • Practice all safety procedures • Always wear safety equipment • Goggles and aprons • If you have long hair, put it in a ponytail • Never taste or put anything in your mouth • Unless directed by the teacher • Keep your work area neat • Immediately tell the teacher of any accidents

General Safety Rules • Be careful when using sharp objects and glass • Tell the teacher immediately if you break any glassware • Do not try to clean up broken glass • Be careful when working with heat sources and heated objects • Be careful when working with chemicals • Clean up your work area when you finish • Wash your hands at the end
