Limited Tendering (LTM) - No Threshold Rule- 63 Aircraft, locomotives, Specialized medical equipment, telecom equipments, silos, ports, harbours • G & W of specialized nature 1 • Available only from a limited source • Urgently needed Urgency unforeseeable ,not caused by delay 2 • Competitive Tender impractical 3 computers, laboratory/ research equipment • Policy to standardize

  6. Limited Tendering (LTM) - With Threshold Applicable only for Rule- 63(2) • Max. Tk. 2.5 million for Goods & related services and “Stand alone service” • from Enlisted Suppliers/ Contractors 4 • subject to Threshold • Max. Tk. 20 million for Works & Physical services • Tender price exceeds the Specified threshold Approval of Contract from the next higher level

Invitation and Enlistment under LTM Goods of specialized nature - invite from the potential Suppliers directly Procurement under Rule- 63 (2) - invite Tenders from enlisted Suppliers/Contractors Ad. in PE’s website, if any. Also recommended parallel local publications in brief. Rule- 64 : Other than OTM Rule- 52 : Procedure for Enlistment • Applicable for LTM under Rule-63(2) • PE invites application for enlistment by types & categories of Supply and Works • list prepared by EC, approved by HOPE • list maintained/updated annually by PE through advertisement
