Sales Tax (VAT, GST)

1. Order Taking / Sales & Discounts – EMEAWe can accept the following payment types:- credit card (either manually write down the card details or swipe them if using POS ipad). If using chip & pin machine, charge the customer’s card for the total amount of their order less discounts- cash (for local PD shows or in exceptional cases where delegates may not have card payment)- proforma invoice / invoice (check if the customer wishes to do this – it can delay their Ship To order so they may prefer you to take down their card details to speed up their order)NOTE on 3 digit security code: non-GSALL shows = do NOT take the 3 digit security code on back of card. For GSALL shows, DO take the security code. • Sales Tax (VAT, GST) • Books are zero rated in the UK so no tax is applied UNLESS it’s a CD/electronic product which is standard rated (currently 20%) • For shows outside of the UK, because we are invoicing the sales under a UK company, we continue to take zero sales tax • For GSALL exhibitions, the 7% tax is already included in the list price • VAT Receipts • If customers request our VAT number (to claim back tax), our UK registered number is: GB 376766987 and German registered number is: DE 813481633

2. Shipping Rates • UK orders: £4 / €5 flat rate • European orders: £13 / €16 flat rate (GSALL customers: local rates will apply when order is fulfilled from Germany) • US/Canada orders: £4 / €5 flat rate (US/Canada fulfilment centres will handle the order) • International Orders:£15 / €20 flat rate (local rates will apply when order is forwarded to relevant region) • We do not offer FREE shipping unless Marketing have set up a FREE Shipping campaign • Estimated delivery times: between 1-4 weeks depending on shipping destination • Conference Discounts
