Conclusion • Five Years have passed since the close of book One.The first description of the Second Bokk is the Tellson’s Bank, which is pictured in great detail.The image of death is never far from Dickens’ mind in this novel. • Darnay is on trial, and Lucie Manette and her father are to serve as witnesses for the prosecution.
