  13. Scholarship Sponsorships It’s Easy to Sponsor a Scholarship: • Send in a check for a minimum of $3,000 with a completed Student Scholarship sponsor application by December 31st. (If you are a sponsor that has supported a student scholarship prior to August 31, 2006, you may send in a check for a minimum of $1,000 to support a scholarship.) • Include a name for the scholarship. • Define one specific criterion for the recipient i.e. attends a specific university, lives in a specific state, has leadership experience, etc. Recognition includes: • Invitation to student luncheon at the AANA Annual Meeting in the year the scholarship is awarded. • Thank you letter with the name of the scholarship recipient . • Listing in all AANA Foundation recognition materials.
