SECURITY & EMERGENCY SERVICES AWARENESS MESSAGE INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT INTO SHAPE SECURE AREAS In accordance with SHAPE Supplement to AD 70-1 Pt II, Ch 1, Para 1 – 41 the following items are PROHIBITED within Class 1 and Class 2 Secure areas unless they are formally authorised by the ISO: CAMERAS PRIVATELY OWNED MOBILE PHONES PRIVATELY OWNED ADP SYSTEMS (LAPTOPS / PDA’S / I PAD etc) PRIVATELY OWNED ADP HARDWARE (USB / MAGNETIC STORAGE) PRIVATELY OWNED RECORDING EQUIPMENT INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE A REQUIREMENT TO INTRODUCE PERSONAL ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT INTO SECURE AREAS ARE TO ENSURE THEY OBTAIN A LETTER OF JUSTIFICATION FROM THEIR DSO AND THEN CONTACT THE ISO IN BLDG 102 (RM 205) IN ORDER TO JUSTIFY THEIR REQUIREMENTS AND OBTAIN FORMAL WRITTEN AUTHORITY TO INTRODUCE THE ITEMS. OFFICIAL ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, BLACKBERRY / GSM / LAPTOPS / CAMERAS / MEMORY CARD) IS NOT TO BE USED WITHIN SECURE AREAS WITHOUT THE EXPRESS WRITTEN AUTHORITY OF THE ISO. www.shape2day.com/PMO_Home.aspx www.shape2day.com/policemattersinbelgium.aspx
