  3. “… social economy represents more than 11% of enterprises in the PACA Region, with a turnover of more than 3 billion euros per year, providing 12,4% of jobs and working with 760.000 volunteers” (PACA programme for support to social economy) public support programmes for social economy on European territories

  4. Support to social economy programmes takes different shapes on different territories. Examples: France (Nantes, PACA Region) Italy (Rome, Liguria Region) Spain (Andalusia) public support programmes for social economy on European territories

  6. City of Rome to support experiences of production of goods and services based on a sustainable use of available resources to pool existing experiences and initiatives of social cohesion to make citizens aware of the economic capacity of social economy actors The objectives

  7. PACA Region - to support the development of economic activities giving as much importance to financial viability as to social cohesion and environmental protection The objectives

  8. Andalusia Region to more strongly involve citizens in social economy activities to create/develop social economy enterprises to create jobs in social economy The objectives

Nantes Region to increase visibility of social economy in the region to address the inhabitants in their role as citizens, consumers, producers and decision-makers to conceive new initiatives through partnership between social economy and other local actors to promote the creation of jobs The objectives
