  1. AuraPortal PROJECT TASK 3 • Findsome cases applications of thequalitytoolsselected and explained. • Describe theproblem and a business case in whichthistoolsshouldbeconvenientlyapplied.

  2. Flow Charts I • Auraportal is the best example for using flow charts because their product is based on the design of specific flow charts to describe processes of a company. • The processes are developed by means of different symbols. Each represents a specific action or step of the process.

  3. Flow Charts II • AuraPortal uses a standard of drawingcalled BPMN (Business ProcessModelingNotation). • Thisstandardisbasedon symbols withthefollowingmeanings: • Rhombus: • Decissionpoint. Eacharrowis a possiblewaywhichdependsontheconditionin therhombus.

  4. Flow Charts III • Box Describes a subprocessinside of themainprocess. • More symbols are used in the BPMS standardsuch as startorendingpoints. AuraPortal can create a BPM diagram. In thenextexamplewewillsee a realizationstagewiththisstandard.

  6. CheckList I • When a customer chooses AuroPortal he creates himself an automation of a process. Therefore he selects the variables that take part of the process by means of check lists. • The next example shows a Green Clean Haptons’ checklist created with AuraPortal.

  8. Histogram I • After the creation of the simulation of a process AuroPortal also makes an analysis of the obtained results. This analysis can be represented with a chronological axis with the aim to compare the evolution of the results. • The next example shows a histogram for the percent of occupied seats in Box Cinemas in a long period of time.
