The media has often come out to judge the relationship between Melania and Donald Trump harshly for starters due to their age difference. Additionally, the media and society at large criticise their relationship by calling Melani a trophy wife who seems unhappy in her marriage. However, the people close to Melania reveal that she is just a lady with strong traditional values. Her shy nature contributes to the fact that she does not show her affection publicly and why she chose to steer clear of Donald Trump’s presidency campaign. Melania Trump’s parents taught her to uphold strong values about marriage and family, which she lives by to date. With her modelling career in high gear, Melania Trump met her future husband in 1998 during a New York Fashion Week party. Notably, Donald Trump had shown up to the party with a date but his interests were piqued upon meeting Melania. The talked and upon asking for her contacts, she declined and instead opted to take Donald Trump’s contacts. The ever enthusiastic Trump presented her with all his numbers including personal and business contacts and she contacted him a week later. Donald Trump was intrigued by Melania who unlike many girls, did not swoon over his wealthy status. In fact, Melania confesses that she did not know about the business mogul until she met him that night at the party. Their instant connection was the beginning of a bright future.
