4. Hire the guide with the tour company Do not hire a guide who works individually. Hire only with the travel company with whom the tour package has been taken. The tour companies verify the guides and if something wrong happens it is their responsibility. However, there is no guarantee with the individual guides. They can try to dupe the tourists.
