Building a Foundation • From hard surfaced roads of the USA to dusty hilly dirt roads of Mexico.
In the Hills of Tijuana Mexico remains a poor country, it suffers from poverty and near-famine conditions. Most live in makeshift homes without bare necessities such as electricity or running water.
A bottle company Mothers hug their hungry children as they wait for fathers to return from low paying construction and factory jobs. Average wage is $6.00 US dollars a day or 60 pesos.
On the compound, additional buildings are used for classrooms, sleeping quarters and a Sister’s convent
This weekend’s work is completed by volunteers from ‘Mr. Garage Door Inc.’ and the Knights of Columbus
From pouring water into a old toilet from a bucket into a hole in the floor

Work completed this weekend, new roof for the chapel; built a new single structured building, installed four new plumbing systems and repaired leaks; added a new clinic and Dr Val saw 120 patients.
Volunteer Service Eighteen strangers, friends, brothers, dads, sons unite to build a foundation of new friendships while building a foundation for the Mission
