Description • Fish breeding technician is the person who works under the supervision of the water products engineer, for breeding and utilizing of fish.
Duties • Does the pre-preparation of the equipment and tools used in production, • Makes water analysis, • Makes rootstock selection, • Implements egg-making and fertilizing techniques, • Does the work of incubation • Takes care of the Larvae (fish, puppy) and feeds them, • Does the Selection (longitude) job, • Makes fattening, • Provides diagnosis and treatment of fish diseases, • Makes the repair, maintenance and usage of pools and ponds, • Keeps food and material stocks, • Takes safety precautions for occupational health and safety measures.
Tools and materials used in this job • Air Cleaners, • Aquaculture tanks, • Stock ponds, • Shipping containers, sizing basins, sorting machines, • Spiral and straight hoses at various diameter and thickness, • Bucket for Rootstock • Shaking barrels larval transport bags, • Gloves, boots, raincoats, • Milking cups, sponges and brushes, • Pharmaceuticals, scuba tube and indicators, • Plastic barrels and buckets, • Inclined crane and moving fishing crane, • Capture box, feeding machine, • Fish protection cages, sand filters, • Landing net and so on.
