  1. PLWG Report to RPG September 24, 2013 Presented by John Moore, PLWG Chair

  2. August PLWG Meeting will be held tomorrow, September 24 Key PGRR’s to be addressed: PGRR031 “Implement 95% Facility Rating Limit in Planning Criteria” PGRR028 “Evaluation of Compliance of Reactive Requirements”

  3. Active PGRRs Under Consideration • PGRR028 “Evaluation of Compliance of Reactive Requirements” • ERCOT will present updated PGRR language • PGRR030 “New Planning Guide Section 8A, Declaration of Resource Data Accuracy” • ROS directed PLWG to address stakeholder concern re: extent of timeframe requiring filing of updates for resources being planned for interconnection. • A small group has met to offer revised language for consideration. • PGRR031 “Implement 95% Facility Rating Limit in Planning Criteria” • Two alternatives have been developed for consideration. • The alternatives address different approaches to justify new projects based on 95% loading; one addresses the concern to establish language that does not incorporate the justification within the Planning Criteria and eliminate a potential conflict with NERC compliance requirements. • PGRR032/NPRR567 “Stakeholder Review of Resource Registration Data Requirements” • Review RDWG’s proposed language addressing processes for changing resource registration data requirements

  4. Wrap-up of OPSTF Issues List • If time permits, additional consideration will be directed to consider two remaining issues that have not been completely addressed with current and recently approved PGRRs: • Issue 5c – How to consider discrete load additions • Issue 10 - Security-constrained deliverability of ancillary services
